Tom Harris has twenty years of experience in the animal liberation movement.
He has launched and coordinated numerous pressure campaigns, successfully closing puppy farms, shuttering chicken units, and ending military diving experiments on goats. He was a prominent organiser for the infamous SHAC campaign, for which he was set up by the state and spent several years in prison.
In his talk, he will discuss how to launch and keep grassroots pressure to close any business in the world; what is the place of pressure campaigns in the modern movement; and why we can’t wait for others to act.
