Many thanks to the Camp Beagle supporters who have completed and sent our template letter to their MPs regarding animal testing.
Below is a copy of a Home Office reply stating the Government’s position on animal testing – It is worth nothing the last paragraph in which they state that, although the Government is committed to the phasing out of animal testing, there is a need to continue to use of animals in science and research.
More and more MPs are asking the government to take action regarding animal testing because it’s becoming more and more obvious that it’s failing animals, patients, medicine, and science.
Please contact your MP and encourage them to speak up for the animals suffering and dying in laboratories and build upon the pressure to develop scientific knowledge using methodologies based on human biology.
