Larissa is now 12 weeks old today and the work starts now – training.
Training is an important part of any dogs life – the skills learnt at this early stage of her life and development will last her whole lifetime.
As Vets and dog trainers preach ‘Time invested now will pay dividends later’.
Larissa’s training has included commands from ‘hide’ to ‘heel’, from come to ‘focus’, from ‘sit’ to ‘touch’ and ‘paw’.
The Beagle owners amongst you will know how hard it is to train a beagle puppy, so the words ‘dedication’ and ‘perseverance’ are key; one small step at a time.
Recently we published a video from Marshall Bio Resources North Rose site in the States, showing the ‘training’ of their beagle puppies.
Take a moment to reflect the training which Larissa is getting, compared to the training which the MBR beagles are getting.
The results of Larissa’s training will last her whole lifetime – The results of the unfortunate MBR Beagles training will last as long as the testing in the labs will dictate.
Remember Larissa is 12 weeks old today, in 4 weeks time she would be in the advanced stages of her training.
In 4 weeks time a MBR beagle will be destined for a testing laboratory where their ‘training’ will be put to good use.
