Open Rescue at MBR Acres: Dogs Freed from Breeding Facility

An open rescue took place at MBR Acres in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, late on the night of 29 September 2026, between 11pm and midnight.

The footage received through Camp Beagle’s whistleblower line shows individuals entering the MBR Acres site and gaining access to sheds where beagles are bred in disgusting conditions for use in cruel, useless laboratory experiments.

At this early stage, the exact number of dogs taken away and their current circumstances have not been confirmed.

One woman, named Bee Vegan, was arrested inside MBR Acres in connection with the incident and was taken to Peterborough Police Station. She wore mask stayed behind once the puppies were freed.

Camp Beagle witnessed the police arriving at MBR Acres following the break-in into the site. Further details regarding the circumstances of the rescue, the number of dogs released, and any additional arrests are still emerging.

MBR Acres breeds beagles to be used in cruel toxicology testing and has been the focus of an ongoing campaign since Camp Beagle established a permanent protest camp outside the facility the summer of 2021.
