Camp Beagle Outreach – Lush Milton Keynes

Camp Beagle was proud to be asked to do an outreach event at Lush Centre MK, Milton Keynes, this weekend.

It is well known that Lush do not test any of their products on animals, indeed their company policy states, 

Lush do not test on animals, do not use materials that contain animal derivatives that are unsuitable for vegetarians and only buy raw materials from companies that are not involved in the use of, or commission the use of, animals for testing and have no plans to do so in the future.

Many conversations were had with the customers throughout the day with the majority of which being aware of Lush’s anti-animal testing policy. Nevertheless there were many who thought that animal testing was banned years ago due to the ban on animal testing on cosmetics.

It was good when customers knew of the Camp Beagle campaign – indeed a few requested leaflets and outreach material in order that they could do their own events.
