In the last week, there have been 12 written questions from MPs about animal testing.

5 of these were specifically about the use of dogs in testing.

We have never witnessed this many questions on this urgent issue, and we feel everyone’s work and efforts lobbying MPs are starting to pay off.

The plight of the MBR beagles is now high on the political agenda and no longer hidden away as the animal testing industry would like to.

The questions came from seven different MPs, including a question by our local MP Ben Obese-Jecty MP, and from across all three main political parties.
