Undercover Footage
The first-ever undercover footage of the beagles inside MBR sheds was filmed in 2021 and 2022 using a small camera secured to the end of a 40-foot pole. The pole was then introduced inside the sheds through the vents, from outside of the perimeter fence. The images captured below show worse conditions than we had ever imagined.
Two well-recognised veterinary doctors reviewed the footage and stated:
“The footage clearly shows a failure to provide these dogs with the care and conditions they deserve. Their behaviour is typical of confined animals under stress, and their welfare is compromised by a lack of comfort, hygiene, enrichment and stimulation.”
