A heartfelt thank you to our own wonderful Marie from the Camp Beagle team today, who gave up her Sunday to stand for the dogs, and to James and Seb of Pop and Bark for welcoming us so kindly to the Beagle Christmas Party at the Slug and Lettuce, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.
The event was full of joy — beagle owners gathered to celebrate their companions as they should be, happy, loved, and free. Santa Paws made a special appearance, while Pop and Bark treated the pups to Puppuccinos and Rudi’s The Doggy Bakery delighted many four-legged customers.
Alongside the festive fun, conversations turned to the reality of MBR Acres. Many attendees already knew of Camp Beagle’s mission, and those hearing about it for the first time were shocked and saddened by what is happening.
Together we spent a powerful few hours signing petitions, leafletting, and spreading awareness — showing that compassion and community can make a difference.
Thank you again to Pop and Bark (as seen on Dragons’ Den) for giving us this platform to share the truth and celebrate the Beagles as they deserve.
