MBR Suppliers In Focus: Lindstrom

MBR Suppliers are a Facebook group which target the suppliers of goods and services to MBR Acres and encourage them to cease trading with them as without them MBR Acres could not function.
In an ongoing campaign Northampton Animal Rights Group have focused heir attention to Lindstrom who wash the soiled work clothing of MBR Acres staff.

Their Facebook post reads:

When Lindstrom bought out Microclean in November 2024, they also inherited their clients. One of these clients was MBR Acres.

Staff at Lindstrom were given a presentation about MBR, which focused on the ‘need for animal testing’ and spoke about the ‘humane’ way in which the dogs are treated. Incidentally, there were no presentations given of any of their other customers.

Following the presentation many of the laundry staff refused to wash MBR uniforms.

Lindstrom had discussions with MBR about protesters and the campaign which was running against them. Staff at Lindstrom were told to not have communication with any protesters and not to give any information out.

Lindstrom drivers would go to MBR in unmarked cars and would not wear the Lindstrom uniform.

The contract between Lindstrom and MBR generates a relatively small income compared to their much larger clients, such as Lucozade and Haribo, therefore boycotting MBR would barely put a dent in their revenue.

Ironically Lindstrom have a Whistleblowing page on their website:

“Stakeholders and employees might also be unknowingly harbouring illegal or UNETHICAL CONTACT. We wish to encourage everyone at Lindström to report suspected misconduct through whistleblowing. When actions are misaligned with our principles and guidelines, it should be raised up. This enables us to prevent or correct matters as soon as possible”.

Does providing services for MBR not meet the criteria of being against their principles and unethical?

Lindstrom pride themselves on sustainability and being a good, honest company. Strange that they want to be connected to MBR.

Lindstrom standing firm on providing services for MBR Acres, despite knowing exactly what they do.

Other customers of Lindstrom will most likely be unaware that MBR Acres are one of their clients.
