Day 1 of the Heatwave – Urgent action required
The Home Office’s own guidelines state dogs should not be kept in temperatures above 24°C.
The weather forecast suggests that it is going to get much hotter over the next few days.
The MBR Beagles dogs, well over a thousand of them, are kept permanently confined in METAL industrial sheds with no cooling system inside of these sheds.
We are CERTAIN that the temperatures inside the sheds tomorrow will be ABOVE 24°C.
Please write and email ASRU ( Animals in Science Regulation Unit), to demand that they intervene.
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY AND IS A RED FLAG AS TO THE COMPLETE LACK OF ANY PROTECTION PROVIDED BY THE AUTHORITIES TO THE MBR BEAGLES AT ANY POINT IN THEIR SHORT MISERABLE LIVES.
The MBR beagles are treated as if they are cardboard boxes – this MUST change.
